Hillary's paper trail

In a letter last year responding to a Freedom of Information Act request by Judicial Watch, Melissa Walker, supervisory archivist of the Clinton Presidential Library, wrote that archivists had identified 3,022,030 still-unreleased health-care documents, along with 2,884 e-mails and 1,021 photos covered by the group's request. Archives officials at the Clinton library have yet to process the Judicial Watch request or release the several million pages of task-force documents, including many key internal memos written by Mrs. Clinton and her advisers about how to restructure the health-care industry. This prompted the group to file a new lawsuit last week demanding their immediate disclosure. "This doesn't pass the giggle test," said Christopher Farrell, the group's research director, about Clinton's statement that "all" of her health-care records had been released.(link)

Question: What's Hillary hiding?

It boggles the mind.

Again, Jesus Cap'n...do they just e-mail you the talking points directly now??

What is Cheney hiding? What is Georgie Sr. hiding about his pardons of ex-Reagan officials for Iran Contra? What is the current president hiding? Why aren't current administration officials reporting for testimony in response to a subpoena? The world may wonder but I think can make a pretty good guess.

But oh GODDAMMIT it is so much more important to find out what ideas about improving or changing the healthcare system Hillary Clinton wrote to her husband 12 years ago while the Constitution is being gang raped by the Republican party.

I am stealing this from Digby but Capn, please name one official of a former administration running for office who has been pressured to reveal every single document or exchange he or she had with the president at that time. I keep hitting Cheney but remember he was also Nixon's chief of staff, was he pressured to release every document from that period?? No because he just claims Bat Shit Crazy Privilege and World's largest Defense Contractor General Electric/NBC News says "o.k. how about we just go f**k John Edwards and his $400 haircut, that's important.

By the way, research, research research. President Clinton's request to release his presidential papers in 2012 is actually sooner than the National Archives would normally release them. Remember this is the outfit that only just finished releasing the Nixon tapes about five years ago.

Also, please remember Georgie Jr. and his executive orders sealing Reagan's presidential papers and presumably his own father's. Not to mention his administration's consistent violation of the Presidential Records Act (Act of Congress, you know, it's called a LAW, remember School House Rock?)by using RNC e-mail accounts for White House business.

And no I do not support Hillary Clinton, but I would like to see the media report facts instead of just making up non-existent controversies and saying "It raises questions". I would also like to see the Bears have a winning record this year. eh... whatever.
