Duper Tuesday

Another week, another split primary contest, right?

Hilldog is poised to "win" Kentucky (hmm... should she have had some fried chicken there?)

While Obama is favored to win in Oregon, where opinion polls give him a lead between 4 percentage points and double-digits. The two states have a combined 103 delegates at stake on Tuesday. But that doesn't matter - because...

Obama is going to drink Hillary's milkshake - tonight!

While Obama will probably still be about 50 to 75 delegates short of the 2,026 needed to win the nomination, he has decided this high water mark will send more undecided superdelegates flooding his way. (see I can write for the AP...)

"A clear majority of elected delegates will send an unmistakable message -- the people have spoken and they are ready for change," Obama campaign manager David Plouffe said in an e-mail message to supporters.

So tonight, in Iowa - and he's going to declare that he's beaten Hillary Clinton in the contest.

Be looking for that, it ought to be funny. I wonder if Hillary will get to have a rebuttal, the same way they have a Democrat speak after the State of the Union address? Now that'd be even funnier!
