Hillbillies Like Hillary

Ironically, Sen. Hillary Clinton’s lopsided victory over Senator Barack Obama was fueled by strong support from white, working-class voters. That's funny because she's been eating shiznit over saying "white hard working voters" for a couple days now.

And, SNL nailed it, her supporters are a smidge racist as the NYTimes stated, "Two in 10 white West Virginia voters said race was an important factor in their votes. More than 8 in 10 who said it factored in their votes backed Mrs. Clinton, according to exit polls." There you go. At least people aren't lying in polls anymore. Look, that's progress people.

Meanwhile, Obama's slam dunk over Hillary is nothing of the sort. Hillary's in this thing for the long haul, and the longer this is dragging out, the worse Obama is starting to look.

While Obama still has the lead, a solid lead - Hillary's win over another swing state, or one that isn't totally Democrat (ie Illinois) may bring up legitimate questions of Hillary over Obama in the nomination. Clinton carried Ohio and Pennsylvania. Can Obama deliver a swing state against McCain?

John Edwards pulled in 7%.
