President Obama said today: "Major combat operations in Iraq have ended." Mission Accomplished. Right?
But if you want to read what it actually means -I mean, if you actually read it, it means that 15,000 of the 65,000 troops there leave this month. The rest are there until the end of 2011.

My ass it's over. Even after we leave, it will only be a matter of time before one of three things happen. One, the current government will go hardline and crush everyone like you had with Saddam. Or, the limited government and weak military and police will fall to a Shia backed entity that enacts Sharia law or an Iranian equivalent. Or finally, Iran will invade outright and Iraq ceases to be. And then we'll be back to save the day...again. I've seen that country too many times, and I'm sure I'll see it again before my time is up with Uncle Sam. We'll have to see who we're shooting at by then though.
