Dead Robbers

A New Jersey man has been shot and killed at an Alcoholics Anonymous center in South Carolina in what police say was a thwarted robbery.

Here's the rundown, according to police, multiple sites, here's what happened: An 18-year-old man was trying to rob the members at the AA meeting.

Columbia Police say Kayson Helms walked into the meeting at 11 p.m. Saturday night with a gun and demanded whatever those at the center had.

"Gimme what you got."

At this point an AA visitor dropped something on the floor — possibly his wallet — another AA visitor pulled out his pistol and shot the robber “multiple times,” police said.

He was shot in the neck, abdomen, and chest.

Helms was taken to Palmetto Richland where he later died.

Police did not identify the man who shot Helms, but said the individual had a concealed weapons permit.

No charges have been filed. For the record, he got what he asked for.

Did I not write on here that gun control is all about tight groupings? Good for them! One less moron to waste gov't money on inside a prison.
