Our greatest wartime leader was rarely wrong. The ability to carry on when you are almost dead on your feet, to continue to hold your ground when others have faltered, is what, I believe, goes to make up a good soldier.

You Got Your Star Wars in My WWII!

What happens when you combine WWII and Star Wars? You get this set of super cool custom figures...

SILLOF cooperated with Glorbes to complete these outstanding Star Wars action figures at twice. This set of World War 2 styled Star Wars figures consists of eleven unique action figures. We can see many familiar characters, including Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi, C-3PO, R2-D2, and several Stormtrooper soldiers.

Of course, all these Star Wars characters were marked by some elements from World War 2. For instance, Han Solo with a classic WWII pilot hat and a bomber jacket on, the modified Thompson in Chewbacca’s hand, Darth Vader wearing a famous German flared helmet, smaller manned tank shaped R2-D2, and more.

Oh Come On!

It seems the man who steered Britain through the most dangerous period of its recent history HAS fallen victim to the modern curse of political correctness.

Last night the question of who removed the cigar and when was something of a mystery.

The Winston Churchill's Britain At War Experience, in South-East London, confessed to being astonished to discover that the image may have been doctored.

Which is a little embarrassing for the staff at the charitable trust, because the photograph features on a giant poster hanging above the museum's main door.

Sunday Comics: Week in Review

Ah what a week it's been if you've been paying attention.

The Blago circus opened the tent. I know most folks are thinking, hey, it's just Illinois. Wrong. This is National Politics, and the Chicago Machine that is running the country. This is how Obama Governs... and the current DNC. And since Blago has proven that he's a 'wild card', if he's going down, he'll gladly pull down the main poll and bring the tent down with him. This is going to be an awesome circus.
And now here are some useless numbers pulled out of some graphic designer's ass...

Maybe Mr. Obama shouldn't have been so harsh about Katrina? Nah, helped him get elected. But let's keep an eye on how well that bites him in the ass in a couple years. Pretty much everyone knows that the North sunk the South's ship. Iran saber rattles some more. There are five open fronts on the 'War on Terror' and Israel is sinking 'peace floats'. Oh, and the world economy is in the crapper. It's like some little kid has been setting up dominoes...
