The VISITING team --the Los Angeles California Anaheim Disneyland Angels of East Chuckaphuck-- was in the field. By breaking up the play, the Red Sox fan was actually helping the home team.
So why did the other fan --whom I presume is also a Red Sox fan, since (a) he was wearing the apparel of another Boston-area sports franchise and (b) a southern California fan wouldn't have been out in that weather-- why did he ever get upset to begin with, let alone start throwing things?
Unless he wanted the game over with quicker... (?)
