Slutty "Co-Ed" Controversy

Georgetown’s 23 year old “Coed” Sandra Fluke Is actually a 30 Year-Old Women’s Rights Activist? 

I'm sure by now you've read about Nancy Pelosi's Congressional hearing that featured Sandra Fluke? 

But have you heard about the interesting part? The part of the story about her being a “coed”. That's in quotes because she was originally introduced as a Georgetown law student. It since been unraveling that prior to attending Georgetown she was an active women’s right advocate. Okay. That's fine.

In one of her first interviews she is quoted as talking about how she reviewed Georgetown’s insurance policy prior to committing to attend, and seeing that it didn’t cover contraceptive services, she decided to attend with the express purpose of battling this policy. During this time, she was described as a 23-year-old coed. Now at the same time Congress is debating the forced coverage of contraception, she appears and is even brought to Capitol Hill to testify.

But in an interview with Matt Lauer on the Today show, it was revealed that she is, in fact 30 years old, NOT the 23 that had been reported since this started.

In other words, folks, you are being played. This story is manufactured. And Rush Limbaugh stepped in it. Deep.

So now the media and the folks who have manufactured this story - I would assume to divert the "ObamaCare makes your premiums go up whether you like it or not - even if you're a nun" to a "Look, Republicans hate women!" and "Rush Limbaugh called this sweet innocent girl a slut! The horror!" That oughta' distract 'em!

Yes, he called her a slut - and he "apologized" for his "attempt at humor." He didn't reverse his statement against mandatory contraception coverage though. In fact, in his statement he added,

— which he claims were an attempt at humor — he did not reverse course on his objection toward mandatory contraception coverage.
His statement continued:

"I think it is absolutely absurd that during these very serious political times, we are discussing personal sexual recreational activities before members of Congress. I personally do not agree that American citizens should pay for these social activities. What happened to personal responsibility and accountability? Where do we draw the line? If this is accepted as the norm, what will follow? Will we be debating if taxpayers should pay for new sneakers for all students that are interested in running to keep fit?In my monologue, I posited that it is not our business whatsoever to know what is going on in anyone’s bedroom nor do I think it is a topic that should reach a Presidential level."

TL;DR: He called her a slut because she expected other people to pay for her birth control and her lifestyle choices. No consequences, no responsibility. Just gimme my free stuff. That's what his rant was about. Just try to forget the part when he added that she should video tape her act of coitus since he's paying for the contraception .... but that's just hilarious banter going into the commercial ... right?

And speaking of commercials -- for those of you still offended, Limbaugh's advertisers are fleeing like Italian sea captains after tipping the boat over. See - that's how market forces will correct the problem! What a great conservative learning moment we've just had!

Conspiracy Against Conservatives

Andrew Breitbart dies of a massive heart attack. Rush Limbaugh gets a bomb sent to his house. Sheriff Joe Arpaio brings back the birther movement.

Looks like a Shakespeare play - or the Clinton Administration.

The conspiracy angle has already begun to get traction. Breitbart announced he had video of Mr. Obama in college. And they're juicy. I'm sure he figured if a ten year old sexual harassment complaint could knock out Cain - he'd play that game on Obama. It's not like it'll really be able to knock the folks in the bubble out -- whether you're for or against him, unless he's kicking kittens on the wall, how bad can it be? Is it going to make you vote differently on November 2nd?

Either way, there will be an autopsy since he died at age 43. That's scary enough.

Rush gets a bomb threat in his lawn, probably after being incensed that tax dollars are paying for some college kid's birth control pills. So, how does threatening to blow up the blowhard fuzzball help your cause?

Meantime, Sheriff Joe Arpaio came out and said the Obama full length birth certificate was a forgery - and he is immediately laughed off by the White House with teasing "X-Files" music on Twitter. Now if the Sheriff ends up in a ditch with his breaks cut, it might add some credence to the conspiracy against conservatives.

For me, it's the hypocritical nature of the left hand fringe - that celebrates the death of Breitbart and puts bombs (real or fake) on lawns because they're losing their argument? That's not cool. You're supposed to make jokes on John Stewart and laugh it all away.

But since you're reading this in a blog, you didn't hear it on NPR, or see it on the television, did you? Ron Paul in the latest Rasmussen Poll beats Obama by a few points.

That's with NO press.

 Do you ever wonder why the press doesn't cover him? He's anti-establishment 'crazy' and his ideas threaten the status-quo. Now, get ready, but whatever happens at the convention - brokered, staged, pie fight, we'll see if he is tapped to be on the ticket -- or if his son Rand is.

If we're lucky, this would a great start to owing up to the challenges this country really faces - and not who's buying who's birth control pills.

U.S. Has Military Plan Should Iran Conflict Erupt

According to Bloomberg, Pentagon officials say U.S. prepared options to provide aerial refueling for IDF planes, as well as plans to attack Iranian military bases.


U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff General Norton Schwartz said Wednesday that Washington has prepared military options to strike Iran's nuclear sites should conflict erupt, Bloomberg reported.

Just four days before Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's scheduled meeting with President Barack Obama in Washington, Schwartz told reporters that military options are being prepared in the event of a conflict.
