Look, this is pretty easy to figure out. Once they needed to add a third shift of dump truck drivers to haul money to Chris Nolan's house and Warner Brothers - Sony decided that they might want to offer Sam and Toby a fairly sizable 'incentive' to keep the Spider-Man in theaters.
Golly, they've burned through a ton of bad guys already. Let's hear it for The Lizard, the Vulture, Kraven (minus the silly costume, please), and The Shocker! With the current track record, we'll probably get all of these and two more in part four. That's not a good thing, Sam.
They could have a lot of fun with Mysterio - a villain with a fish bowl on his head who sprays LSD on his enemies.

Um. I think you meant he sprayed "LSD" on them. LCD would be some sort of crazy "gray goo" singularity angle thing, y'know--NANOTECHNOLOGY, Wow!
Am sure that one of the newer, lamer Gen X evil villians uses that, but I'm guessing that someone battling the swinging web slinger used the hallucinogenic drug.
