So, if Obama is against the Bush Tax Cuts - which gave a check to taxpayers directly to help encourage short term spending in the economy. (300-1000 dollars back, depending on your qualifier)... ... why would his Administration even consider the Cash 4 Clunkers, which gives the tax payer $4500, directly?
And the Obama plan requires the person to go into debt to purchase a new car. Which puts us all right back into the spiral of consumer debt? That seems like a rope-a-dope, bait-and-switch to me.
I'm just scratching my head over that one.
Feel free to tell me how Bush is evil, and Obama is Superman again.
I'm just not following.
