I just got word that the Senate won't be voting Health Care before their break, which is bad for Obama - and good for the Senate. Well, their pockets anyway.
Sen. Harry Reid, finally acknowledged publicly the inescapable political reality that has been clear for several days. There's 1) too much pressure from the hometown constituents - who are polling under the 50% approval rate on this whole 'free' healthcare idea 2) Obama is losing popularity for trying to Rahm this bill through, while admitting he hasn't read it 3) there's SOOOOO much more money to be fleeced from Big Phrama, the AMA, and insurance companies for Congressional re-election campaigns.
