Internet out in the Middle East

After the snapping of two undersea cables off the Egyptian coast, another Internet cable, Falcon, owned by FLAG Telecom, has been damaged in the Middle East but Internet operations across India have remained unaffected. (link)

First time: Stupid accident
Second time? Coincidence
Third time - Hmmm... That's funny!

Really, the 2 of the 3 cables that were cut were only note worthy because BOTH were damaged. The FLAG and SeaWeMe-4 cable outages have forced European traffic to go WEST to get to most of Asia. Had only one been lost, it would not have been nearly as noteworthy, nor as funny. Unfortunately, cables go out all the time. The fact that two outages coincide ain't really enough to make it a conspiracy.

But call me when the bombs are being dropped.
