Dear Marathon Runners,

Sung to the The Ballad of Jed Clampett by Paul Henning - (Beverly Hillbillies Lyrics)

Let me tell you a little story about a man named Fixx.
He wrote a little book, bout how running keeps you fit.
Then one day he was running like he said,
and he fell to the ground came a gurglin' dead.

Dead that is. Tits up. Not a live.

Well first thing you know Bill Hicks' a-makin' jokes,
Yul Briner was lightin' up a smoke.
Said "I'm dead too, but what you coulda' be...
Coulda' had the the life I had, F*in' everything I see.

Perhaps running all the time saps your brain cells. Anyone running 26 miles in 88 degree temps is fooloish. A Darwin Award goes out to the dude that died....sorry to be callous.
